Young Thoroughbred Stock for Sale

There Goes Trouble

Registered New York Bred by City Hall Slew (Son of Seattle Slew, Dam by Spectacular Bid) out of Zooby Doo (by Distinctive Pro, out of Zubov, a Dr. Blum mare) yearling (May, 2005). This colt is now a dream to handle, but made us weary in his early lessons with his penchant for winning. This attitude bodes well for his racing performance. His conformation is impressive, as is his movement. He’s been started under saddle and is training with an athleticism and the smarts that bode well for impressive future racing victories. Private treaty.

Win for Social

Three-year-old registered New York Bred gelding out of Socially Accepted (Qaudradic mare) by Aly Galore (May, 2004). Not recommended for racing. This kind and unflappable steed already stands at 16 hands and hasn’t begun to fill out yet. We expect him to be close to 17h, or taller, when he’s done growing. His mouth is soft as butter and he responds immediately to light leg pressure cues as well as voice commands. He ponies and neck reigns and is also adept with English cues. He’s already been to the racetrack and was ponying others on his first day (after he easily loaded on the trailer in the dark for the first time since his mother was shipped to be bred with him in tow at four weeks; and got broke to the walker). He’s special in his quiet and kind nature, reliable behavior and eager and willing attitude. This kid is unbelievable in how easily, safely and steadily he handles any task requested of him. Plus, he’s a whole lot of fun – both on the ground and on his back. $7500 or best offer.
